On October 15th and 16th, Nicole Shelley coordinated and hosted a significant event highlighting breast cancer awareness and touchpoints for art and fashion. Guests entered a beautifully arranged fourth-floor event space filled with gorgeous fashion accessories, work from the artist Anastasia the Great, and details surrounding the Linda Fenner 3D Mobile Mammography Center that provides free mammograms to uninsured women.
Nicole specializes in creating experiences that reflect and reinforce a healthy and fashionable lifestyle for women. Prominently displayed was The Mobile Mammography Center, named in honor of Linda Fenner and supported by the Braham Family Charitable Foundation. Volunteers for the center were available to explain this community service which has performed over 5,000 free screening mammograms for uninsured women. It was moving to see this work being highlighted.
Anastasia the Great was also on hand to present some of her New Renaissance-style paintings. At the event, Anastasia was highly charming with her seriousness, creativity, and warm, flamboyant smile. She was eager to share her goal. “My life is one of hard work to create works with such a powerful, timeless beauty they can declare the eternal fight against the Wars, Ignorance, and Injustice” Finally, there were gorgeous clothes, jewelry, and bags available to guests to try on and experiment with. The event offered a lot to consider, and Nicole did a fabulous job elevating health and art as critical aspects of women’s lives.
